Registration Acceptance ConditionsIn order to apply to the Internal Medicine Nursing Master's Program, candidates must; a) Have a bachelor's degree from one of the following: Faculty of Nursing; School of Nursing; Faculties of Health Sciences, School of Health Sciences, Nursing Departments of School of Health, have received at least 55 standard points in the numerical score type from ALES conducted centrally by ÖSYM, or have been successful in internationally accepted exams whose equivalence is accepted by the Senate instead of the ALES result and whose success base points are determined. b) In accepting students to master's programs, the success grade is calculated by adding 20% ​​of the undergraduate graduation weighted grade point average, 50% of the standard score obtained from ALES, and 30% of the score obtained as a result of the interview conducted by the jury established by the institute's board of directors for each department. In order for a candidate to be considered successful, the success grade must be at least 65. Students are accepted as many as the announced quota by ranking from the highest score to the lowest.
Recognition of Prior LearningSuccessful students who have completed at least one semester in another department of the relevant university or institute of technology or in a postgraduate program of another higher education institution may apply for the horizontal transfer quota announced in the relevant department. Horizontal transfer is possible with the approval of the relevant department head and the decision of the institute's board of directors.

Program ProfileThe aim of this program is for the student to gain in-depth knowledge and skills in the field of Internal Medicine Nursing, conduct scientific research in this field, gain the ability to access, evaluate and question information, become sensitive to the health problems of the society and seek solutions to these problems. At the same time, training expert nurses who are culturally and socially equipped and who value human rights and ethical values ​​is also within the scope of the program profile. Those who successfully complete their master's degree have priority in being appointed as academic staff at universities and other public institutions or in being assigned in specific areas. The Internal Medicine Nursing Master's Program accepted its first students in the Fall Semester of the 2015-2016 Academic Year, and 3 students graduated as of 2018. Education, training and research activities in our department are provided by 1 Professor, 2 Associate Professors, and 3 assistant professors. The language of instruction is Turkish. The program includes compulsory and elective courses related to the field of internal medicine nursing. Compulsory and elective courses related to the field in the 1st and 2nd semesters; In the 3rd and 4th semesters, thesis work related to the field is carried out.
Occupational Profiles of GraduatesNurses who specialize in Internal Medicine Nursing can work as clinical managers and nurse managers in the Ministry of Health, University and Private hospitals. They can work as academicians in the Department of Internal Medicine Nursing in Health Sciences Faculties, Nursing Faculties, Nursing Colleges, and Nursing Departments in Health Colleges. Those who successfully complete their master's degree have priority in being appointed to a higher position or to be assigned in specific areas as lecturers in universities and other public institutions.
Access To Upper DegreeGraduates who successfully complete the master's program can apply to doctoral programs in their own field or in multi-disciplinary fields, provided that they receive a passing score from the ALES exam and have English language proficiency, and are accepted if they are successful in the interview exam.
